When you've been the world number 1 for 16 years, you know exactly what your feet need. The Bela range (available in Pro, Tour, etc.) is the result of an in-depth biomechanical analysis of Fernando Belasteguín's movements on the court.
Why is the Wilson Bela unique?
1. Specific “Rotation” Sole
This is the major innovation. Unlike traditional chevron-patterned soles (inherited from tennis) that sometimes restrict foot movement, the sole of the Bela has circular patterns. This allows for smooth pivoting, reducing the strain on the knees and ankles during defensive plays in the corners.
2. Kaos Chassis Stability
To balance this freedom of movement, Wilson has integrated the Kaos Chassis. It’s a dual structure: a flexible part for agility and a rigid part for arch support. You are free to move, but your foot never "rolls" over.
